Originally publishe in two volumes. From the introduction: "The first contains details of data gathered in the course of a survey conducted within the city....It includes a great amount of detailed information which will be of value to social welfare agencies and others in the city concerned with detailed planning, and can best be considred as a volume of working papers." The publication is obviously "in house": typed roneod sheets though the print has not faded. Hamilton Smith was from the Youth Services Planning Division, Balmer an honours graduate from Latrobe University. The front end paper is missing and the books suffers from the usual library damage, but apart from which it has no annotations or highlighting and is solidly bound. Includes a 20 page Herald insert from 1990 "Home Prices Guide" Both make very interesting reading.
