The edges are chipped and the back board damaged along the edge; the front end paper has a closed tear and the next two pages slightly damaged where they have been separated. The fore-edge has the look of a book that has been well thumbed, as indeed it has. This was Jean Galbraith's copy (1931) and before that H.B. Williamson (1931) Her bookplate is on the front paste down. Includes all 4 volumes published between 1922 and 1929. It is a clean, tightly bound, though obviously much loved book. A very good - annotated copy if you're after the information; a good copy if you're a collector. Raised bands with gilt print.
