Tractatus de poenitentia speculativus et practicus, dilucidatas continens universas difficultates ad poenitentiae Sacramentum spectantes ... opus omnibus confessariis ac poenitentibus perutile, claro stilo, sententiis tutis, & qunti ecclesiae doctoris d.
...........Thomae Aquinatis ejusque discipulorum inconcussis doctrinis firmatum. Pars prima. Authore p.f. Dominico Maria Molinari de Sarzana, ordinis praedicatorum, sacrae theologiae professore, illustrissimi ac reverencissimi D.D. Ambrosij Spinulae oline episcopi Lunen. Sarzanen. Theologo, in ejusque diecesi nec-non & Sancti-Severini in Piceno Synodali examinatore." The leather is rubbed and chipped at the edges; the front hinge has been reinfoced with tape and there is a "go to page annotation" in biro on the front paste down and a pencil one on the front end paper; the front paste down also suffers from minor insect damage. The spine is cracked at page 400/4001 and this has been reapaired with tape (I'm innocen!) as have pp 408 to 425. Page 426 has a stain running along its length where the tape has seeped through the page. Page 432 is cracked at the spine, causing that section of the book, from pages 400 to 432, to jut out of the covers. This is the book's worst fault: Internally it is clean and good for another 270 years. I am assuming the book to be quite rare - 2 listed in the Vatican library and 5 in various Italian libraries, 4 complete, one volume 2 only.
