The birds of Berwickshire; with remarks on their local distribution migration, and habits, and also on the folk-lore, proverbs, popular rhymes and sayings connected with them. In Two Volumes. Volume One Only.
The book has been restored. The binder has replaced the spine strip retained part of the original one, which is incomplete and jagged in parts. The blue boards are slightly chipped at the edges and milddly rubbed, with a reddish sheen. There's a white stamp like sticker on the tail of the back board. The end papers are also new. Internally the book is immaculate and having been rebound, solid. A very good copy, in good only covers.
