The cover is rubbed, badly at the back towards the bottom, caused I suspect by the removal of a wasp nest, which is also visible at the edges and on the tail of the spine. The fore-edge also has minor staining from wasp mud. The body of the book is in excellent condition. No date, late 19th century. The illustrations for the exercises have the music score on the opposite page. Quote from the book: "Extract from New Code, 1894: After the 31st of August 1895, the highre grant for Discipline and Organisation will not be paid to any school in which provision is not made for instruction in Swedish or other Drill, or suitable Physical Exercises"
