The boards are rubbed and the hinges exposed; the back paste down has the remnant's of a book pocket and and accession stamp as has the oppposite page, a list of other Cassell publications. That page has minor loss at its tail and also been damaged by a date due slip - no tears, just its ghost. The title page has a discrete cancelled stamp. Internally the pages are clean with no markings whatsoever.
