There is a very large black remainder mark on the tail, and with diminished severity, the tail of the pages are wrinkled up page 59., but not stained in any way. This coulde be either a water spillage but moe likely from being shelved in a damp room. The pages are also beginning to yellow. Apart from these faults, the book is solidly bound and appears to have never been opened. "Written in an accesible and non scientific style, Red Sand, Green Heart: Ecological Adventures in the Outback evokes a humorous, entertaining and informative picture of Australia's desert region and the environmental issues that affect us all" (back cover)
