The glassine cover is badly damaged at the back, less so at the front. The main problem with this copy is that the sewing in the last leaf had partially unravelled and the hinges of the leaf reinforced with acid free tape. It is now not flush with the rest of the book, but still within the covers. The remainder of the book is solidly bound and unmarked. viii, 136 pages. "Michel Manzi (1849-1915) was a close friend of the celebrated painter Edgar Degas. With regard to Atlantis he followed the ideas of Ignatius Donnelly and the Theosophist, Scott-Elliot, and is sometimes referred to as an occultist. He was also influenced by the work of Abbé Brasseur de Bourbourg." (Atlantipedia)
