The book has yellowed with age, shelf stained and the head of the front cover is discoloured, and bumped at the head, which continues throughout the book. There is a pencil annotation on the title page which also carries 3 minor stains. Internally apart from a few pencil markings along the edge, the book is clean and the binding solid. A very good used copy. The front cover states Paris as place of publication, the back, as location for the publisher is London. 74 pages, illustrated, please check with us for an accurate postage cost. Maurice Vanikoff is sometimes listed as the author, though I could find no confirmation of this. Maurice Vanikoff (1886-1961), was in the 1930s active in defense of rights of political refugees and victims of anti-Semitism and continued his activism is Casablanca in the early 40s and France after the war.
