Internally the book is spiral bound, 192 pages, illustrated and indexed. 'I never thought I'd ever be able to make a bagel with my own two hands, but I followed the recipe in this book and it worked beautifully (just boil the dough a little longer than it says -- that's my only criticism)!!! The book is worth it for that recipe alone, but there are plenty of lovely things, all illustrated in full gorgeous colour. There are little step-by-step pictures and tips, but I had to laugh at the bagel tip: "Why don't you try bagels for breakfast?" Um, yeah...duh. But the book is spiral-bound and hard covered, and I look forward to using it for many years and many recipes to come. Definitely recommended." (web review) And the recipes do indeed look good.
