Subtitle: "By Edward Fitzgerald Author's Final Revision, with the Literal Omar, Being a Version of Those Quatrains of the Original Upon Which Fitzgerald's Poem Was Based Edited by Arthur Guiterman. With Eight Illustration by Gilbert James." xii, 85 pages. The boards are shelf stained and there are two small, closed tears at the tail of the spine; there is a mostly indecipherable gift inscription on the front end paper; on the back end paper as well as the verso of the title page, there is a variant translation of his most famous poem 'Wake! For the Sun, who scatter'd into flight/The Stars before him fromn the Filed of Night," very light foxing to the preliminaries. And finally, the pages are rough cut, and the preliminaries not quite flush with the boards, a printer's error. Overall an attractive copy, clean and solid.
