xxv 311 pages plus 64 of plates, indexed, select bibliography and with a key to the plates. The book once belonged to the Fitzroy Public Library. Its stamp is on the fore-edge and copyright page. The front paste down and both the front and back end paper are foxed; both paste downs also have a small square of brown tape towards the middle; and the back end paper is damaged, I suspect from the removal of a library pocket. The body of the book is clean, unmarked and solid. 'Greek Coins: A History of Metallic Currency and Coinage Down to the Fall of the Hellenistic Kingdoms' was first published in 1933. This is a second impression of the second edition.
