387 pages, gilt print on spine and gilt decoration on front board. The boards are badly rubbed, chipped at the edges and stained; the front end paper has been glued to the front paste down, there is an ownership signature on the front end paper; page one suffers from a small semicircular loss at the tail and the head's outer edge onpage 158 is dog eared. This does not affect the print. On the plus side the pages are unmarked and the binding very good. A good copy in poor boards. No date offered, late 1800s, early 1900s, possibly earlier.
